The man in the black pants and the blue button up shirt nudged Miller. Waking him from a pleasant dream.
“Hey. End of the line pal.” said the rent a cop.
“I’m heading downtown.” said Mills.
“Different train pal. You gotta get off.”
“I don’t have enough to get back on. Can’t you just let me ride through?”
The rent a cop thought on it for a moment.
“Can’t help you pal. End of the line.”
